Giant Game Night!
April 27, from 5:30-7:30 pm
There will be Life-sized Candy Land Game, Life-sized Pac-Man, Giant Jenga, Kerplunk, Chess, Yahtzee. Games are free. "Tacos-in-a-Bag" and other snacks will be available at a reasonable cost. Our Shepherd High School Students will be providing the food and helping lead the giant games.
 
Food proceeds will help support our youth who want to attend next year's National Youth Gathering. In addition, we will have a special Donation Board where you can show your support.
Street Smarts at The Streets of SouthGlenn
This year's deadline is 12 days away!
Help Shepherd when you shop at The Streets of SouthGlenn to receive a prize of $250-$2500! Simply shop and submit receipts from purchases made between August 15 and April 30 of each school year. Either drop your receipts off at Guest Services (by the parking structure) or the box in Shepherd's entry area near the office. Teacher Appreciation Sunday
Let's celebrate all Shepherd of the Hills teachers on Sunday, May 6, at the 8:00 am service, in church, and at the 10:45 am worship service, in the gym! Following the 8:00 am service will be a cake reception in the Gym.

Piano in the Summer
Did you know that individual piano lessons are offered at Shepherd during the school day AND throughout the SUMMER?!?   Summer can be a great time for piano lessons!  For information regarding summer lessons or school time lessons, contact [email protected] or pick up a brochure in the school office. New research is proving that there is no other activity that stimulates as much of the brain simultaneously as reading music! Take advantage of what piano lessons can do for your child academically, emotionally, artistically and creatively!  
Jack's Corner
QUESTION:  We have never had much trouble with our 12-year-old son.  He is always obedient and really wants to please.  Until now, I have been happy we don't have to discipline him much, but I have this nagging feeling his father and I are missing something.  Any thoughts?
