Center Mailing of Winter Issue of Strides
Due to a list-pulling operator error from your marketing department, we realized no centers received their winter issue of PATH Intl. Strides. We are sorry for the inconvenience!! The good news is, they will be shipped with the center renewal packets being worked on now. In the meantime, the electronic version is available here and doesn't require a membership because of its relevance to current happenings. The timing couldn't be better as the theme of this issue is "Preparedness" and contains processes for how to create strategies for a variety of emergency situations. With all eyes on the Corona COVID 19 virus and this year's strain of the flu, it's a great time to freshen your procedures or create some emergency plans.

Correction to University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Research Study on Benefits of Therapeutic Riding
The last eNews, we shared a story about Riding To The Top in Windham, ME, hosting a research study on why therapeutic riding benefits children with autism spectrum disorder. The research study will also be conducted at Hearts and Horses, Inc., a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited Center in Loveland, CO. We regret the omission.
University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus researcher and Children's Hospital Colorado psychologist, Dr. Robin Gabriels, has received a $2.5 million grant to investigate why therapeutic riding works. The grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute Of Child Health & Human Development of the National Institutes of Health, will fund a randomized 5-year-study to look into the physiology of why this therapy produces such positive results compared to a no-horse barn activity control.
