"The Ra in bo w Connection" This Sunday
"The Rainbow Connection" is the sermon title and theme for this Sunday's services @ the beach @ 8:30 & 9:30 a.m. Tom preaches and Caitlin McKechney will be our special guest vocalist - Caitlin's website . Caitlin is one of the Opera Cowgirls and is the only woman to have sung with the  Dancing Bohemian Ukulele Team! And, we'll have the privilege of offering the sacrament of baptism to three angels at this week's service!
P.S. - this rainbow was spotted on Lake Michigan at the reception following Connie Addington's Memorial Service - it brought more than a few tears!
Mark McMahon's "Worship on the Beach"
Painting - At the Beach This Sunday!
Nancy White will be taking orders for 11 x 14 prints of the Mark McMahon original painting that was done a few weeks ago @ our beach picnic. The giclee prints are printed on archival paper and signed by Mark.
The 1- x 12 prints are matted to 16 x 18.5 and are shrink wrapped. Prints will be available through the end of August at the beach for $150. Sign up this Sunday if you'd like a print - you can pay when the prints are delivered in a few weeks. Questions? In June we published pictures in the newsletter of our High School kids pulling weeds that were in some cases, waste high while in Durham, NC on the Farm Church Work Trip. They cleared the field, planted some crops - and you can see the results - like the zukes to the left! Way to go!
