From our PTA President

Hello Everyone,
 
Welcome to the Dover Intermediate School PTA. My name is Lisa Miller and I will be your PTA President for the 2018-19 school year.
 
The DIS PTA helps to provide activities and programs such as:
Fall Festival, Read-A-Thon, Halloween Party, Cookie-n-Cocoa, Reflections, Staff Appreciation, 5th and 6th Grade Activities, Bike to School, Field Day, DISC Club, and Staff Grants.
 
No PTA can function well without the support of parents and staff. Volunteering and becoming involved with the PTA at DIS benefits the students, the school, and the community. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Come to meet new friends and reconnect with others.
 
Please think about joining the DIS PTA and help make the upcoming 2018-19 school year a great one! Join and donate today!

Staff Back to School Picnic
 
Hello Parents at DIS!
 
On Tuesday, August 21 the PTA will be welcoming back staff members from Dover Elementary, Dover Intermediate, Lee Burneson, and the Westlake City Schools central office with a cookout on campus.  Please help show how much we have missed them over the summer by signing up to send something in.  Items will need to be to the Dover Elementary playground by 10:30 that morning.  If you would like to sign up, please click here.

Join the DIS PTA and Donate to the Direct Donation Fundraiser All Online!

You can join the PTA, donate to the Direct Donation Fundraiser and tell us your interest
in volunteering on our Cheddar Up website. You can pay with credit card, e-check or can turn in cash and checks to the office. We will also have a PTA table set up at the DIS Open House on Monday, August 20th from 4-7pm with information on becoming a member. 
 
The PTA provides many activities and rewards for students.  We support the staff, community and school with education items and much more!  JOIN and DONATE today!  Your support is greatly appreciated!
DIS Ice Cream Social
 - Monday August 20th 4:30-6:30 pm


The PTA is hosting an ice cream social for incoming 5th and 6th graders. Stop by the Cafeteria on the day of the Open House for a cool treat!

  • Wednesday, August 15: 5th Grade Locker Set-Up, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

  • Items should be copy and paste ready; i.e.  do not send a note saying "please add information about..."
  • Event items will remain until the event has passed; you do not need to resend each week unless your message has changed.
