RESEARCH WEEK APRIL 16 - 20, 2018
Please join us for Research Week—a celebration of the many research activities at USD. This multi-faceted showcase will focus on the importance of research at the university, and will include various events, open houses and demonstrations.

The Lab Crawl is an opportunity for the USD community to learn about student-faculty
research in STEM while visiting laboratories in Loma and Serra Halls, and
the Shiley Center for Science and Technology. Participants collect stickers at each lab
station to redeem for free pizza and raffle entries.

USD's Collaborative Research Grant Opportunities: 2018 - 2019

Keck Undergraduate Humanities Research Fellows Program
 Over an academic year and alongside a faculty advisor, Keck Fellows engage in research, scholarly activities, and/or creative work that advances the interdisciplinary humanities. ($5,400 stipend)

Faculty Interdisciplinary Startup (FIRSt)
The FIRSt Grants program supports faculty-student research teams that develop collaborative research projects involving undergraduates and strongly engaging the humanities. ($5,000 grant)

Collaborative Research Group (CRG)
Collaborative Research Groups encourage research collaboration among faculty and students to advance interdisciplinary activities involving the humanities at USD. (up to $500 grant)

Travel Award Funding is Available!
Thanks to Associated Students (AS), we have additional funding available for travel awards. If you are planning to present at a conference before June 4, you can apply for up to $500 for an individual or $1,000 as a group to fund your travel to the conference. Applications are on a first come first serve basis. For more information, click here!
