Walk-ins Accepted at this Weekend's Youth Apprentice Interviews

ArtWorks is now hiring passionate, young artists (must be between the ages of 14 – 21) who are eager to create art, make a difference in the city, work in diverse teams, and build new skills.

ArtWorks Youth Apprentices and Teaching Artists work side-by-side to create public art and community impact projects. Projects can include (but are not limited to) painting, drawing, photography, design, sewing, and community engagement. Apprentice wages start at $10.69.

Interviews are being held at 21c Museum Hotel Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March. Walk-ins will be accepted with paper applications from 10:00am until 3:00pm on each day.

  • Communications & Data Entry Volunteer - We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented volunteers to enter applicant data into our application database and support follow-up communications with applicants. Experience in data entry and phone communications required. Familiarity with Google Forms is a plus!

16th Annual RITES OF PASSAGE: Call for Entries
Manifest Gallery is challenging students and the recently graduated in regional, national, and international college undergraduate programs to show what they have achieved share it with their international viewing public.

This exhibit will feature the best work from artists about to receive or recently awarded an undergraduate degree from a regional, national, or international college art or design program. All entrants must have received or be scheduled to receive a college undergraduate degree in 2019, 2020, or 2021, and provide a current academic reference’s contact info.

The deadline for entries is March 22, 2020.

2020 Price Hill Creative Community Festival Artist Residency
The Price Hill Creative Community Festival has extended their application deadline for their 2020 residency to March 15.

Artists-in-Residence will collaborate with MYCincinnati musicians to perform during the festival. The opportunity is a professional, paid residency.

Alzheimer's Association: Call to Artists
The Alzheimer’s Association is in need of a few volunteers to facilitate classes assisting patients with creating art. This opportunity requires two people, a few times a month, at locations all around the city; whatever area is convenient for the volunteer. A short orientation class will be provided prior to beginning.

Batesville Area Arts Council
Batesville Area Arts Council is seeking qualified artists or artist teams to create outdoor permanent art projects for multiple locations in downtown Batesville. At least one art installation is planned before September 25, 2020. The HeART and Sole initiative seeks to build upon the successes of recently completed public art and placemaking projects. This project’s focus will be to continue to enliven downtown Batesville by building the concept and design for a Living Walnut Street Corridor, which includes a plan for streetscape transformation with a public art component. The project aligns with initiatives identified by the community, Batesville Main Street, the City of Batesville’s strategic plan for attracting investment and creating a more vibrant and thriving downtown.

Columbia Tusculum Community Art Installation Project 2020
"Bridging the Past to the Future" is a collaborative, outdoor art installation project that will take place in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood. Produced by The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum , t he goal of the project is to engage residents and visitors in/to the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood with community-collaborated art while visiting historic parts of the neighborhood. 
 
Artists will be connected with a Columbia Tusculum host-resident to plan, create and display a (front) yard-art installation. The art will be viewed for free by the general public during the corresponding week to the 2020 Homearama in Columbia Tusculum; September 13-27, 2020. This outdoor art event coincides with the 2020 Homearama taking place in our community. 

Timeline: Proposals are due by April 15 and will be selected by the second week in May.
Group Exhibition at Clifton Cultural Arts Center as part of Regional FotoFocus Biennial
The Clifton Cultural Arts Center is calling for artists to join their group exhibition for FotoFocus 2020.

They are accepting submissions until June 6 to fit this year's theme 'Light &'.
