March 9, 2020
From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal

Dear Parents,
There has been a lot of discussion and questions related to CoVID-19. The Archdiocesan Office for Schools has been updating the Principals regularly on the planning efforts for a variety of situations regarding CoVID-19; from the most disruptive (mandated shutdown of all schools) to the basic (keep sick kids home!). The situation with this virus is rapidly evolving and we will keep you appraised of any situation as we become aware. One specific reminder (from the Arch) that is very important is the following: every individual has the right to the privacy of their personal information. As such, some information will not be able to be shared by the school. I will keep you abreast of any information I can share as it becomes available. I did want to let you know that the teachers are being vigilant about cleaning surfaces (desks, tables, counters etc.) with a specialized cleaner. Many of them are spraying twice per day. We continue to encourage hand washing and proper sneezing and coughing etiquette. Please don't hesitate to call me with any additional questions or concerns.

Students are off to a great start with our Penny Challenge and Blessing Bags. Your child's teacher will send information regarding the items that will be donated from their classroom. Keep sending in the pictures of your family service! We are excited to see the wall fill up!!

Blessings,
Mrs. Ellen Knippel
