FEATURED EVENT: Kinder Fair
Hundreds of incoming kindergartners and their families attended the first of two District Kindergarten Fairs on Thursday, April 5, at Lincoln Street Elementary School. Students experienced a real school lunch, participated in fun and educational activities, met some of the staff and community partners who will be supporting them in school, and even received a free book. The second Kindergarten Fair takes place on Thursday, April 26, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Witch Hazel Elementary School. Each elementary school also has its own kindergarten orientation; please see our website for details.

Transcript Changes
Updates to our Synergy Student Information System are now allowing us to add two information fields to student transcripts: attendance and Bilingual Seal. Attendance data has been a required element of the transcript, but until now, system limitations had kept us from providing it. Therefore, all current students* requesting their transcript will now see attendance data for their four years of high school, and those students who earn a Bilingual Seal on their diploma will see that information reflected as well.

*Please note that attendance data will not be provided on the transcripts of past graduates.
