Shoe Drive April 8 - May 20 This Sunday the 1st -5th grade students started learning about the Beatitudes and how they apply to their daily lives. In the game workshop, we learned that to hunger and thirst for righteousness means doing things according to how God wants us to live and that we are all called to action. We learned that over 300 million children worldwide do not have shoes. But we can help! Please join the 1st - 5th grade Sunday School children as they collect new or gently used shoes for the Barnabas Community. Place shoes in the receptacles in the Children's Ministry wing. Safeguarding God's Children Training

Mon., April 23; 6:30-8:30pm; Room 316 All adults wishing to help with VBS, children’s or youth ministry are required to complete this training every three years. If you can't make it to the April training, the next training is Mon., June 4 from 6:30-8:30pm.  Learn More or Register

Fifth Grade Bridge Event Sat., April 28; 6:30-8pm All current 5th graders and their parents are invited to attend this special evening as we celebrate the time these students have spent in elementary school and help prepare them for their transition into middle school.There will be a special blessing, games and time to talk about confirmation and youth group. Children's Ministry Offering During April and May the offering collected during opening will be contributed to the construction of a Children's Garden to be used in conjunction with children's programming. Thank you for sharing your gifts to this upcoming project! Please keep in mind as your children write out their offering envelopes, it helps with record keeping if they would kindly include their first and last names.
