Electrical Safety Short Course
The Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI) is pleased to announce details of the 2018  Electrical Safety  course.

Instructed by Scott McCall and Brian Johnson, the  Electrical Safety  course  is  designed to benefit electricians, supervisors, physical plant engineers, technicians, and others who need a fundamental understanding of electrical theory and the safe operation and maintenance of these systems. The course will conclude with a tour of the Pegula Ice Arena.

Students completing this program will earn a certificate of completion and p rofessional development hours will be awarded for 100% participation and attendance.

Topics discussed during this two and a half day course include:
  • NFPA 70 E
  • Arc Flash Training
  • Ground and Bonding
  • Various safety topics
This class will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to contract agency personnel. 

The registration deadline is May 14, 2018.
