IvyNotes: The week of July 30th
A weekly look ahead with dates and event details to help keep you informed.

Director's Note

The 2018 Ivymount Gala is only 96 days away! We hope you will join us at The National Cathedral. We're grateful to all of the volunteers working to make this evening special. Make sure to check out our student video below.

Our Post High School students have been busy in the garden this summer harvesting lettuce, broccoli, spinach, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, green beans, lavender, and rosemary. Many of their crops are used during our weekly cooking classes.

Some of our Post High School students will be selling Ivy Barkery Dog Biscuits at the Westwood Pet Store (5428 Westbard Ave, Bethesda) this Friday, August 3rd from 10 - 11:15 a.m. Please stop by if you are in the area.

Have a wonderful week,

Ivymount School & Programs

Ivymount Outreach is looking forward to resuming group recreational and educational programs set to start in September.

We are excited to offer two new programs this fall,
PEERs for Adolescents
and a Self Advocacy Group
for transition-aged students 14 to 18 years old.

As always, all of our programs will be led by well-trained and enthusiastic Ivymount School current and former staff members. Keep an eye out for our course catalog and registration information, which will be sent home in backpacks and via email in August.

If you have any questions, please visit www.ivymountoutreach.org or send an email to [email protected].

Ivy Barkery, a student-run business,  makes and sells delicious, healthy dog biscuits.

Each package costs $5  and includes either
six large or 12 small dog biscuits.

We are pleased to offer natural
honey oatmeal soap handcrafted
by  Ivymount Post High School students.

Ingredients: organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, distilled water, organic honey, organic oatmeal, and organic lavender oil.

Individual bars of soap are $4 each
