APRIL 2018 - IN THIS ISSUE:
Did You Know?

One of the primary purposes of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) is to facilitate a strong  Internal Responsibility System (IRS) in every workplace in Ontario.

To this end, the OHSA requires every employer in Ontario, regardless of the workplace size or number of workers, to prepare and review at least annually, the following three policies:
  • Workplace Violence Policy
  • Workplace Harassment Policy
  • Occupational Health & Safety Policy
Workplaces must also develop and maintain a Health & Safety Program to implement these policies.
