Greetings,

Happy spring from the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia! Whether you are one of our learners, partners, volunteers, or donors, we are so appreciative of your role with LCNV at this exciting time. Our spring semester is off to a great start, with 506 new and returning students enrolled in our 15 classes spanning Family Learning, Beginning English and Destination Workforce® programs. We are excited to welcome back returning learners, while our new learners are quickly enveloped into our vibrant learning community.

Sincerely,

Roopal Mehta Saran, Executive Director

DESTINATION WORKFORCE®: A STUDENT'S SUCCESS
LCNV's Destination Workforce® program at B.F. Saul's DoubleTree by Hilton Tysons Corner was designed to strengthen the work-related English language abilities and hospitality soft skills of DoubleTree's employees. Banquet team member Edilberto was one of the students in this Destination Workforce® class. A hardworking employee, Edi made strides throughout the program and received notable company recognitions following his completion of the class.
