Here is an update of what is happening at
House of Prayer this week!
Worship This Easter Sunday!
John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

We celebrate the glory of Jesus' resurrection on this triumphant day. Jesus defeats death and the grave and opens for all the gift of eternal life. At both worship times we glorify God with powerful music and reminders that God continues to bring new life to our daily lives and our world.

Many thanks to all the musicians, worship volunteers, office volunteers, altar guild, ushers, greeters, information desk, flower delivery volunteers & HOP staff that make this day so special!

Join us for worship during Holy Week. Each of the worship services listed below are deeply moving and powerful, telling the full story of Jesus. See you then!
Maundy Thursday  - March 29, 7:00 pm: This service focuses on the last evening of Jesus' life, starting with the command to love others as Jesus loved us through the practice of footwashing. We also remember the Last Supper by coming to the communion table to share this sacred meal. We conclude the service with the stripping of the altar, marking Jesus' journey to the cross.
Good Friday  - March 30, 7:00 pm: This powerful service focuses on the passion of Jesus according to the Gospel of Mark. The service followings the reading of scripture with reflections and music which captures the power of Jesus' ultimate sacrifice.
Easter Sunday -  April 1, 9:30 am & 11:00 am: We celebrate the glory of Jesus' resurrection on this triumphant day. Jesus defeats death and the grave and opens for all the gift of eternal life. At both worship times we glorify God with powerful music and reminders that God continues to bring new life to our daily lives and our world.

We hope you can stop by to check it out. If you'd be interested in helping with a House of Prayer table focused on spiritual wellness please talk with Ben Whalen ([email protected] or 612-500-9523).

Feel free to arrange to carpool from HOP, or meet at the site, as you choose. Please dress appropriately for the weather, as work can be outside.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Paul Danielson at 952-887-8896 or [email protected]. Please provide an e-mail address, if available, and directions and details on the outing can be forwarded quickly to you, as they become available. You can pre-register via a web link that will be sent out later. This will speed up the check-in process. This makes for a rewarding experience that can make a huge difference in people's lives.
Talking with Tenants
Richfield is considering changing some things about rental housing in town and would like some feedback from current tenants. Whether or not you are a tenant yourself, the Local Housing Team & Richfield Social Justice Community would love your help talking with people to get the word out about this chance to provide input. If you'd like to help or want to learn more about the work we're doing around housing, please reach out to Paula Kiehl ( [email protected]) or Ben Whalen ( [email protected]).
