Executing currency revaluation in Iran by removing one or more zeroes from the rial will require conditions that will not materialize for at least another two years, the governor of the Central Bank of Iran said.
 
“We have had no directives in the Cabinet to remove a zero from the currency and that is not on our agenda,” Valiollah Seif also said in a talk with Mehr News Agency’s website.

GodLover: I know it has been stated not to worry about the budget being published with the program rate. With that said, my questions are....why do this? Why publish a budget with a pr....only to need to change it in the near future? I am not agreeing or disagreeing with this scenario, just curious as to why this would happen? To me it just seems the reason they would publish a budget without the new rate is because they are not ready for it. I don't think these questions have ever been addressed before & I am curious the thoughts on this.

Dogluvr:   IMO, they may publish with a program rate this week. Then come April 1, new day, new work week, new month, new quarter     all = new rate.  Remember they can flip the switch on a moments notice. Personally I'm watching Saturday into Sunday
