Easter Offering
hands/mission by Barbara Gillespy

Each year we divide our Easter offering between two missions.  This year the local  is Snowline Hospice Supportive Care is for people with respiratory disease, such as pulmonary fibrosis and COPD.  This program provides 24/7 nurse support and prevents unnecessary ER visits. 2 ).  Peer to Peer Grief Support for kids is a weekly program to help kids deal with grief and trauma .

The world mission 1/2 will go to John Ramey and his work with the Syrian refugees.

Youth Easter Art Display
by Monica Ness

The Easter Flags which are hung in the sanctuary were created by our Jesus Squad Youth Group.  Go up and take a closer look and read the description of the project and its meaning.

On Palm Sunday evening, our Jesus Squad Youth Group members participated in a Lenten Reflection evening which included encouragement from parents and youth group leaders, scripture, journaling, art and even a marshmallow bonfire!

Some of the Jesus Squad members will be the hosts for our amazing Easter Bunny Path following the 10 a.m. service on Easter Sunday and the entire Youth Group prepared all of the lovely gifts, buckets, and other crafts for our younger children.

"But I don't want to go to become a Clergy Person.........."

It is surprising how often the above statement is made when someone first hears about the opportunity to join "Education For Ministry" small group at Faith on Monday evenings. (Please click here to read more).

Rector's Bible Study - Lessons from Afar
by Mary Higbee

Have you ever experienced being in another culture and coming away with some new insights as a result?  Seeing life through the lens of missionaries in South Sudan and learning about the human spirit and God's grace on the other side of the world is the topic of the next Rector's Bible Study beginning April 4 through May 16.  The class will use Mary Higbee's yet unpublished book, Lessons from Afar, and be led by Fr. Sean Cox and Mary.  (Please click here to read more).

Please email or call the office to reserve your copy of Lessons from Afar.

Children's Activity Cubby
by Monica Ness

The Vision at Faith Church includes the words "children are welcome and families are supported."  We offer a full range of children's programs at our 10 a.m. service AND children are always welcome to be in the worship service.  Beginning on Easter Sunday, families who prefer to have their children in the service will find an activity cubby in the back of the sanctuary.  Please feel free to borrow items from the cubbies, use them during the service, and return them neatly to the cubby afterwards.

Thank you to our volunteers who are keeping the area neat and tidy each Sunday!
