"MEAN to MEANINGFUL BOOK SIGNING
Ed Wile will be presenting his book Mean to Meaningful at
Thomas Person's Hall in Monticello on April 12, 2018, from 4:30PM-6PM. His brief presentation will take place around 5PM. His book is a memoir and ALL the proceeds of the book go to fund scholarships at his alma mater, Wofford College. Please see his website
www.meantomeaningful.com for information on Ed and his mission for the book
'MEAN' WILE TELLS HIS STORY...
Born to parents who were very young when married, Wile grew up in a series of shabby apartments. His father left his mother when Wile was still in diapers and his sister, Diana, was just a newborn. His mother worked long hours as a waitress and often left her children with her mother, one of Wile's earliest good influences. So how did a kid with little supervision and a mean streak turn out to be a successful businessman and an attentive husband and father? Wile gives credit to the people who helped him become a star athlete, encouraged him to go to college and saw a good man lurking behind the tough facade.
Edward B. Wile earned a BA from Wofford College an MBA from Georgia State University and a CIMA from Wharton. In 2014, after a thirty-one year career he retired from UBS.
Ed serves on the Board of Trustees at Wofford College where he was a walk on Hall of Fame football player. He is a former Chairman of the Board read full article here
