Sunday, April 1
Easter Worship 7:45 and 10:00 am
Worship with us this Sunday at 7:45 am in the Interfaith Center worship space (note change of venue due to weather) or at 10 am in the sanctuary as we celebrate the wondrous but perplexing news that God raised Jesus from the dead. Just as Jesus's crucifixion calls us to grapple with how our world responds to radical love and mercy, so the resurrection asks us to consider how God is at work in the places in our lives and in our world where death has taken hold. Where and how do we find new and abundant life in the midst of anger and violence, illness and decay, prejudice and division? Amy Starr Redwine's sermon is entitled "Life Begins in the Dark"
and scriptures are Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24
and
John 20:1-18.
Music Notes: On this Easter Sunday, we welcome guest musicians: Roy Poper (trumpet), Andrew Dame (trumpet), Lee Allen(trombone), Justin Sims (trombone), and Kelsey Bannon (Timpani). Our heartfelt thanks are extended to all of the Covenant musicians who make our Holy Week services so meaningful.
Children are invited to remain with their families in worship and then join us for an Easter egg hunt immediately following the 10 am service. The nursery opens at 9:30 am with professional childcare for infants and preschoolers.

March for Our Lives
This past Saturday, March 24, many of our congregation members attended the "March of Our Lives" rally on Public Square in downtown Cleveland.
The wolf shall live with the lamb,
the leopard shall lie down with the kid,
the calf and the lion and the fatling together,
and a little child shall lead them. - Isaiah 11:6
