March 29, 2018
We are blessed to be in a Catholic faith community that shares the love of God. Our students and many family members prayerfully watched as our fourth graders presented the Passion, the journey Jesus took as he carried his cross to Calvary. The prayer experience was truly inspiring. The words, the songs sung by the fourth grade choir, and the movements of the actors created a stillness in the air that left us mesmerized as we watched Jesus carry the cross. For those of us who watched it, we are left with the question, "How can I show Jesus that I love Him and am thankful for His sacrifice?" Tomorrow is Good Friday, the day we remember that Jesus carried his cross to Calvary. I pray that you and your children find a little bit of time to remember and reflect on Jesus' sacrifice so that Easter Sunday can truly be a celebration.
We want to give a huge thank you to all the parents who came together to make the costumes, to Mr. McCain who led the choir in singing songs that truly moved us, to those who helped set up the stage and the chairs, to our eighth graders who participated in the Passion play by carrying Jesus to the tomb, and finally to Miss Keenan and Mrs. Hunzicker who helped prepare the fourth graders. Thank you!
Today was a beautiful reminder of why we are at Holy Rosary School. When we can experience the love of God through the eyes of our children, we are blessed. I know I am blessed to be a part of the Holy Rosary School community. When I received the called to be the Interim Principal last year, I knew I was taking a leap of faith. Since then I have had many blessings as I work alongside the faculty and staff, the families, and the parish community to create a faith-filled environment for all our students. For over 28 years, I have been involved in all aspects of Holy Rosary as a volunteer, a parent, a teacher, a mentor, a leader, and a friend. It is a privilege to be serving the Holy Rosary School community as Principal. I am humbled and blessed. Thank you so very much.

As we started a family it was important to us to raise our children in a church, school and community that promoted a relationship with God, respect for others, a solid academic foundation, and a safe environment.
