Dear St. Isidore Families,
EASTER BLESSINGS
As the season of Lent draws to an end, we turn our thoughts to Easter and the hope and joy it represents. The resurrection of Christ is not about death, but
life
! Easter symbolizes a new beginning and a new chance for us all. I encourage you to embrace this chance, live life in God’s image, and spread faith, hope, and love.
HOLY THURSDAY
Please join us on Holy Thursday, March 29th. Come and see our GOLD (Giving Out Love Deliberately) projects. They will be in the Bensen Gym from 9:00–10:15 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., Stations of the Cross, presented by our third- and sixth-grade classes, will begin. We ask that you check in at the office, where we will connect you to a student-led tour. Your guide will lead you around campus to each station. Please note that a tour will leave every 5 minutes and we will all end up in the church together for prayer.
KIDS AGAINST HUNGER
Thank you to all who contributed to Monday’s Kids Against Hunger event. I am proud to say the students assembled 15,553 meals and raised over $5,000. It was inspiring to see students of all ages come together with the common goal of providing meals for those in need. These moments truly represent who we are as a school and a community. Thank you, Laura Castillo, for your hard work in organizing this event.
THANK YOU
Friday’s Fish Fry and Bingo was fun for all! Over five hundred school families and parishioners gathered at this event. I want to acknowledge and thank everyone who coordinated and volunteered for this event, especially Paola McNamara, Michelle Anderson, the Gagnon Family, Choice Lunch, Rory Motas, Michelle Devine, and our School Board.
TUITION PACKET
Please find in your family envelopes today the new tuition rates for the 2018–2019 school year. Tuition will increase 4.45% next year, which makes tuition for one child $8540 (a change of $365). The tuition packet also includes a letter explaining tuition change, a chart depicting tuition percentage increases over several years, and a fiscal year 2018–2019 budget.
On behalf of the SIS staff and myself, we wish you and your family, a blessed and hope filled Easter.
God bless,
Maria Ward, Principal
