EDUCATION SESSION #829
A Discussion with Ming Lu, Partner, Head of Asia Pacific, KKR Asia Limited
Private equity funds raised nearly half a trillion dollars worldwide in 2017, according to Preqin - and Asia is estimated to have raised US$60 billion of that, according to McKinsey. Underscoring the region’s potential for dealmaking was the launch of KKR’s US$9.3 billion pan-Asian fund in May of last year - the largest Asia regional fund raised to date.

Learn from Ming Lu where Asia’s growth and buyout opportunities lie and how the industry's accumulating dry powder will be deployed. Lu will also shed light on the nuances of managing portfolio companies across Asia Pacific - from Australia to China to Singapore to Vietnam - and share lessons he has learnt during his wide-ranging career.

Q&A to follow the session. Lunch will be served.
