From the Director
New Early-Childhood Teachers
Dear Ashwood Families,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Ashwood's two new early-childhood teachers, Jen Corning and Morgan Wade. Both Morgan and Jen are trained Waldorf teachers. They each bring a fresh, lively, and joyful energy that we are very excited about. We look forward to introducing you to Morgan and Jen at a parent evening in May.

While we very much regret that Marianne Bockli will not be teaching at Ashwood next year, we are pleased that she will stay on as a program mentor, working with our new teachers and helping to lead the early-childhood program. Morgan will take up her work on May 1 and assist Marianne through the end of the school year. During this time, she will have the opportunity to meet our students and to experience Ashwood's program firsthand.

Jen will join us in August. Many of you know (and to know is to love) Jen from her two years at Ashwood. Both Jen and Morgan will work with Marianne during the month of August. Marianne will also be available for regular check-ins and, hopefully, visits throughout the school year.
Jen Corning

Morgan Wade

With warm regards,

Alumni News
Ashwood Alumni Onstage
Watershed School will perform John Cariani's play, "Almost, Maine," at the Rockport Opera House on April 7, 7:00 p.m. and April 8 at 2:00 p.m.

"Almost, Maine" takes place in a tiny town near the Canadian border. One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same. ALMOST, MAINE: It's love. But not quite.

And here's an added treat: half the cast are Ashwood alumni, and Ashwood mom, Beverly Scott, is the director. Come see Isaiah Doble, Caleb Edwards, Morgan MacDougal, Eli Moore, Christian Ray, Rachel Sizeler-Fletcher, and Daniel Snider perform in this warm, engaging romantic comedy.

Tickets for adults are $10; students are free (the play is best suited for teens and adults). Tickets are available HERE or at the door.
