C ome and build  with your daughter, granddaughter, niece, or best friend. No building experience necessary. Come one day or all three days.
 
Women Build is a national effort to engage and empower women in the building experience of making a piece of the American Dream a reality for our families.  Build with us.
 
Another way to support us is to consider sponsorship and the "Power of Ten". Get 10 friends, co-workers, fathers, brothers or folks to contribute $10 each to your build day.  All monetary donations help Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity purchase supplies for the build.
 
Join us as we come together - women working side by side, building a community, making a difference against poverty housing by raising hammers and raising funds, all to help hard working families have a place to call home!

In early March, some MVHH volunteers, board members and staff spent a week in San Juan de la Maguana to build affordable homes.

Creating Concrete Panels in DR They installed cement floors and fabricated cement wall panels.

"Despite more than 11,000 hours of combined build experience, our team  learned many new and interesting house building techniques common in the Dominican Republic." says Randy D. Larson, MVHH Executive Director.

And Stuart Johnson, board member, says "The trip to the DR was very rewarding and the impact on the families we served was very meaningful - and very much appreciated by the homeowners."
