Susan Schwake is a fine artist, art educator, author, and curator who own Artstream Art School and Gallery in Rollinsford, NH. Susan is best known for her bold use of color in her nature-inspired paintings. Susan works in watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and gelatin monoprint. Join Cycle the Seacoast, Yoga in ME and Eastern Mountain Sports for a Bend & Brew event
. Yoga will be in the Alemaker's Hall of Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth and mingling the hour following with a complimentary brew for each participant. Space is limited so register on the Facebook or Eventbrite page while you can!
Yoga in ME instructor Erica Hoven will get your energy flowing in this light-hearted and joyful all levels vinyasa yoga class. In this class we will coordinate breathing and movement in a series of postures done with calm, focused attention for strength, flexibility and a quiet mind. Postures are accessible to all bodies and students are encouraged to make each posture as physically challenging (or not!) as is appropriate.
Cycle the Seacoast and Eastern Mountain Sports will be giving away goodies and providing information about their annual event. All proceeds will go directly to the American Lung Association's fundraising event, Cycle the Seacoast. Come learn more about the Cycle the Seacoast event happening on May 6th.

Bella's Bartok

All little children grow up, one day - all except the bedazzled and glittered boys of Bella's Bartok. Inspired by elements of Vaudeville, centuries of street performance, and an unyielding drive to promote camaraderie, Northampton, MA-based Bella's Bartok delivers a passionate kaleidoscope of sound. The songs are born of Americana and folk music of their immigrant grandparents, blended with the joy of a particular brand of pop sensibility. Their performances are at once a primal stand against oppression and a declaration of joy in the face of adversity.
