  • Early this month, Andrew Wallace participated as a panelist in a session highlighting research on the nonprofit sector in New York City at Nonprofit New York.

  • Kristina Wertz & Alex Lee facilitated an interactive training on LGBTQ Inclusiveness at the Kresge Foundation.

  • Also in February, Andrew Wallace and Lyle Matthew Kan attended the Research & Data Sharing Working Group for CHANGE Philanthropy in Washington, DC.

Inside Philanthropy explores the philanthropic contributions of the Pritzker family.

MAP’s new  LGBTQ Policy Spotlight: Mapping LGBTQ Equality: 2010-2020 explores the current legal status of LGBTQ people and tallies nearly 40 LGBTQ-related laws and policies across the country.

The Fenway Institute at Fenway Health has released its third annual report cataloging the Trump Administration's anti-LGBTQIA+ actions.

New sentence: "The report finds that $651 million in HIV-related philanthropic funding was disbursed in 2018.


RECENT GRANTS AWARDED

The Johnson Family Foundation LGBTQ Mental Health initiative at centerlink awards grants to LGBTQ centers in seven states.

Borealis Philanthropy Transforming Movements Fund announced the Fund has awarded $800,000 in renewal grants to eight grassroots organizations led by young, queers and trans leaders.

The California Wellness Foundation announced $24.2 million in recent grants awarded, including LGBTQ grantees such as Equality California, Horizons Foundation, and Funders for LGBTQ Issues.

Horizons Foundation funding program: Community Issues, supports the LGBTQ community in all nine counties of the SF Bay Area across broad funding areas.

Over $300,000 to support leaders that include students, shelter residents, immigrants, domestic workers, LGBTQ youth, tenants, and public school parents.
