Bishop Search bulletin insert
With info about the candidates, May Walkabouts, and more

A letter-sized bulletin insert about the Bishop Search has been prepared for use by churches, especially during Holy Week and Easter. The printable PDF can be downloaded here (a preview image is shown below).

This bulletin insert introduces the candidates and lists upcoming events related to the search -- including the Walkabouts the first weekend in May, with instructions on how to RSVP to attend. It also directs readers where they can learn more about the Bishop Search and the candidates on the diocesan website.

Important note: The diocesan website will be offline this afternoon for a security upgrade. If you need the bulletin insert today, please download it immediately.

March for Our Lives:
Send us your photos & stories

Unfortunately we weren't able to do much live posting from the March for Our Lives in Washington, DC on social media because the hundreds of thousands of people gathered there overwhelmed cell phone service. However a photo album from the DC march has been posted on Facebook, and we're collecting photos, stories and media links for a roundup of coverage of all our congregations' participation in marches, for publication in the April 4 issue of The VOICE Online.

To be included, please email your photos, stories and links by this Friday to Nina Nicholson at nnicholson@dioceseofnewark.org.

Presiding Bishop Curry: Easter 2018 Message from the Holy Land

Filmed on Palm Sunday during his visit to the Holy Land, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry delivered his Easter 2018 Message while standing outside of St. George's Cathedral in Jerusalem.

"Hatred does not have the last word," the Presiding Bishop said. "Violence does not have the last word. Bigotry does not have the last word. Sin, evil do not have the last word. The last word is God, and God is love."
