Pharmacy Network Change
Based on our recent Provider Notification regarding Pharmacy Network Changes sent on 12/12/19, Mercy Care, in an effort to reduce overall pharmaceutical costs, is implementing changes to the retail and specialty pharmacy networks effective February 3, 2020 for Mercy Care's Medicaid lines of business.   
MCA Benefits Change for 2020
Effective with dates of service on or after January 1, 2020, the following Mercy Care Advantage supplemental benefits are changing. For a complete description of the 2020 MCA
benefits available, please review the 2020 MCA materials available on the mercycareaz.org website.

It's all about the timing in TRC - Transitions of Care

What is TRC? You may or may not have heard of this hybrid HEDIS® measure. It was introduced in 2018 and, as the name implies, it centers on care transitions from acute (or non-acute) inpatient settings and looks at the percentage of discharges for members 18 and older that meet all four indicators below:

Director of Compliance
Mercy Care

Kellie Manders serves as the Director of Compliance for Mercy Care, overseeing all lines of business (ACC, ALTCS, DDD, and RBHA). In this role, Kellie manages the Mercy Care Compliance team and is responsible for promoting and enforcing compliance with state/federal laws and regulations and related-company policies affecting Mercy Care and encouraging high business standards in order to achieve organization objectives. Kellie partners with various internal departments at Mercy Care to provide ongoing consultation regarding compliance issues and questions and serve as a main point of contact for state regulators.
