District Elections
City Council Special Meeting
The  Advisory Districting Co mmittee  completed its work and is required to determine its  final recommendations  on draft district boundaries maps and election sequencing. These recommendations will be discussed at a City Council public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 at 7 pm at the City Council Chambers .

Community Open House
Join us for a Community Open House! Learn about the Willow Village and share your ideas!

The goal for the Willow Village is to create a well-connected, mixed-use neighborhood that provides retail services, open space areas, community amenities, and housing and transit solutions. The Willow Village will be located in Menlo Park near the Facebook Headquarters. We are reaching out to our neighbors to hear your ideas and share the Willow Village community benefits.

USGS Lecture: Snow and Avalanche Science
USGS Physical Scientist Erich Peitzsch will discuss highlights of applied avalanche research and forecasting on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 pm . The lecture will take place at  Rambo Auditorium/Bldg. 3, 345 Middlefield Rd., Menlo Park .

Women's Leadership Conference
Join the movement to empower and develop more female leaders in our communities. The inaugural Women's Leadership Conference, presented by the County of San Mateo Commission on the Status of Women, will take place on Saturday, March 24 th , at Cañada College . This is a full day of learning and networking focused on developing women’s leadership roles in government, education, and business. The conference will be followed by the County of San Mateo Women's Hall of Fame Cocktail Reception.

2018 Commuter Challenge
Join the 2018 Commuter Challenge ! This Spring, embrace change and discover new transportation modes other than driving alone in your vehicle.

From April 1st to May 31st, people who join the challenge and commute to, from or through San Mateo County using an alternative mode will be eligible to win weekly prizes and one of five grand prizes. Register here.
