PRT Team's Creativity Pays Off for a Special Foster Child:
Andres' Story
|
|
Born drug exposed, Andres spent most of his early years in the hospital due to a host of serious physical and developmental issues. Even now, he requires 24-hour care and will never live independently. Andres' parents' rights were terminated when he was two. At age four, due to a lack of suitable medical foster homes in Miami-Dade, Andres went to live with a special medical care foster parent in another county.

Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners proclaimed Thursday, June 8th, 2017 as Florida Foster Care Review Day. The proclamation was issued to honor all those associated with FFCR and to thank FFCR for nearly 30 years of outstanding dedication to the safety and protection of children in our community. the children and families we serve.

| We had so much fun on June 16th, 2017! Why? Because that day marked Charlet C. Pouchie's 20th Anniversary as an FFCR staff member!
