We ask for your prayers as we celebrate together
As we near the time of the Tenth Triennial Convention and Gathering in Minneapolis, we ask for your prayers: for the staff and volunteers, for those attending and those left behind. You are a blessing to us, whether you are a voting member to the convention, a participant in the gathering or a woman of faith staying home this month. When Lutheran women gather in Minneapolis in a few days, we'll all celebrate together.

TRIENNIAL GATHERING BEGINS IN
|
ONLINE REGISTRATION DEADLINE NEAR
The deadline to submit online registrations (including day registrations) is July 12, 2017. After this date, registrations will only be accepted at the registration desk. Day registration --- either Friday, July 14, or Saturday, July 15 --- at the triennial gathering is $175. Full registration is $350.The event is at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, Minn., July 13-16, 2017.

LUTHERANS ARE PEOPLE OF GRACE

START PLANNING YOUR DAYS
The
Gathering Guide is available for download. You can begin planning your days before you arrive. Rest assured, you will receive a hard copy in your registration bags.

CONVENTION PROGRAM & REPORTS
The Convention Program and Reports (CPR) is available for download. It includes committee reports, the proposed budget, the agenda for the Tenth Triennial Convention and more. Hard copies have been mailed to all voting members. Visitors may wish to download relevant portions of the CPR, as a limited quantity will be available for use during the convention. (If you see this after our new website is launched, find the Triennial Convention link from
the home page, and look in the business section.)

The Book Shop, the gathering book store, will be located on the Mezzanine Level and will stock many Women of the ELCA identity items, All Anew keepsakes and an assortment of gifts, books and art.

GATHER: SEEING JESUS AT NIGHT
One night at bedtime, my youngest child surprises me by asking God to bless the people who will be awake while he sleeps. His firefighter uncle, putting in a 24-hour shift. The bakers, making fresh bread for the morning. The police, charged with keeping everyone safe.

Our Tenth Triennial Gathering theme, All Anew, calls us to look at life in a new way. Our Women of the ELCA purpose statement calls us to be there for each other. NATIONAL LUTHERAN CHOIR TICKETS AVAILABLE TO PUBLIC
Tickets for the National Lutheran Choir Saturday evening, July 15, 2017, are available to the public. The event
is being held at the historic downtown Central Lutheran Church, adjacent to the Minneapolis Convention Center. Seating is limited.
Tickets are $25 plus a $5 registration fee and
can be purchased online. To purchase, click on the "new registration" button. Tickets can also be purchased at the Gathering registration desk.
