UPCOMING FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER

TRIVIA!!!
May 25th will be our first ever Trivia Night Foundation Fundraiser held at Fountain View Rec Center. The theme will be Big 10 College spor ts and there will be food, drink, and PRIZES!
An After Hours is the perfect event!
(well...it's ONE of them)

It's Free. It's after work. It's flexible. It's fun!
Join us May 18th at Chrissy's Gaming on Gary and Fullerton (formerly Spectators) for a great night. Stop in..and don't forget to bring business cards!

The WIB "Table
s of Interest" drew 70 attendees -- including 10 men -- and new business relationships were formed at this Progressive luncheon. It was an enjoyable event and we thank those who attended and those who were Table Captains.

The next WIB event will be "Everyday Diva: Having it All Without Losing Ourselves" on June 21st at Windsor Park. As in past years, we will fill the lobby with mini-exhibitor tables. If you would like one at no extra cost (just the cost of lunch) note that request in the Comments when you sign up; chamber members only.

It's never too early to SAVE THE DATE for our 11th annual "What Women Want" Expo on September 22, 2017!

"HAWAIIAN GOLF CLASSIC" JULY 27th
It's not too early to plan to attend the 2017 golf outing which, this year, will have the
flavor
of the Hawaiian Islands. We will gather on the tropical isle of Klein Creek on Thursday, July 27th. Immerse yourself in the theme and consider a Hawaiian shirt (or pants?) as we enjoy a day of "Best Ball" golf. This is one of the three big chamber fundraisers and we have many levels of sponsorship -- "Rainbow" "Island" "Waterfall" and Coconut" -- along with a drink hole and massage chair sponsors. There is ALWAYS fun and fellowship at the golf "classic" and this is the 28th annual such event. Watch for your invite soon!

The Chamber Directory project has been in the works now for several months. Linda Dickson from the Daily Herald/Town Square Publications is finishing ad sales. You may consider taking out an ad if you haven't yet done so -- it's the best bang for the buck with the visibility the print edition gets as well as the digital version on multiple websites. For details,

An email will be sent to Primary Representatives of all member businesses to check all info that will be included in the directory - Business Name, Rep Name, address, city/state/zip, phone, website, Primary Category, and 5-word or less description. Please watch for it and respond in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for your help with updating your data.
