Your Support Helps Families on Road to Self Sufficiency

A single mother was working and trying to to support herself and her child on $20,000 a year. With no health insurance she was also trying to pay for prenatal care out of pocket . Struggling to pay bills and buy food, she reached out to CAC for help. CAC gave her financial assistance for rent and gave the family food and clothes. The family received a variety of services from CAC over a three year period, including food, holiday gifts for the children, free tax filing and financial management classes while the mother worked to improve her situation. Following a salary increase she was now able to support her family on her own! She no longer needed assistance from CAC which helped her remain in her home in her time of great need.

Your donations help neighbors like this and other local families in crisis seeking help. No amount is too small. Thank you!
