Sugar Museum Announces 2018 Art Contest Winners

Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 Sugar Museum Art Contest, "Remembering Sugar: How Sweet It Was."

3-5th Grade Division: First Place, Jaime Delima; Second Place, Errol Sheehan; Third Place, Kanoa Nemoto; Honorable Mention, Alohalani Chun.  All from Kamehameha Schools Maui.

6-8th Grade Division: First Place, Zoe Chichioco, St. Anthony Jr. High; Second Place, Judah P. Fernandez, Kaahumanu Hou Christian School; Third Place, Adam Fukunaga, Iao Intermediate School; Honorable Mention, Riley Regan, Seabury Hall.

9-12th Grade Division: First Place, Giovanna Garza Motta; Second Place, Ava Medlock; Third Place, Kimberly Calihog; Honorable Mention, Joshua A. Garcia.  All from Maui High School.

The winning art will become an exhibit at the Sugar Museum and will run through the month of April.  We encourage the public to see the exciting artwork that our youth has created.
