Home & School News - Week of April 9, 2018
Friday, April 13th - Come enjoy a cup of coffee and hear all the school news at the Home & School Meeting!
Despite our wintry weather outdoors, Spring has arrived at SAS. Check out the windowsills of classrooms and hallways and you may see our lettuce gardens beginning to sprout. Our students, pre-K through 5th grade, have planted lettuce seeds and over the next few weeks they will be watching their lettuce seeds change and grow. By mid/late May these gardens will be ready for harvest and the students will enjoy a salad party. More details to come on that-let's just have warm and sunny thoughts for now! Thanks to Shannon DeBruyne and a few 8th grade students for helping our younger students plant their gardens.
Any student that brings in can goods for the House of Hope, will receive an out of Uniform Pass!
