|
|
Hello Providers,
We hope this email finds you well, and that you have had a great start to 2020! We closed out 2019 with our
End of the Year Video that highlighted the work and relationships we built in 2019. With 2020 underway, Child Care Aware of NH, powered by Southern New Hampshire Services is already off to a great start. We are busy working with programs, facilitating trainings, hosting Early Childhood Leadership Collaboratives and helping families find care. In addition, we are organizing new services and initiatives that will be brought to you in 2020 AND we already had a conference this year.
We have some exciting events coming up this Winter and some Save the Dates for the Spring.
- On Saturday, February 8, 2020, we will be hosting the Active Collaborative Training Series (A.C.T.). With such a prevalent topic: Caring for Newborns with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome and an amazing group of panelists, we are sure this will be an awesome event. - On Monday and Tuesday, February 10 & 11, 2020, we will be hosting two-day training on the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS-3) with an Environment Rating Scale Institute (ERSI) trainer.
- On Thursday, March 12, 2020, CCAoNH is having its 6th annual Spring NH Early Childhood Leadership Summit. This year, we are bringing in Ann Terrell to discuss Leadership Journeys in Early Childhood Education.
- On Saturday, March 21, 2020, Luis Hernandez will be back in NH. This dynamic trainer will be discussing how put at A Pep in Your Step: Exercising Our Professional Skills in our first Child Care Training Institute.
- Don't forget to save the dates for our Spring events. On Saturday, April 4, 2020, we will be hosting the Caring for Our Children Conference in Portsmouth. Our Latest News and Updates
|
|
In the Spring of 2019, CCAoNH had its first ever Child Care Aware of NH Photo Shoots in various NH Child Care programs throughout the State. These pictures were taken; so that, the new website we are designing could have a real NH feel, with actual NH children, families, providers and programs. Those initial shoots were such a success that we are looking to do it again!
We are looking for volunteer programs to participate in this year’s photo shoots. If you are interested in having your program be a part of the next round of CCAoNH photo shoots, please email
outreach2ccrr@snhs.org. We are looking for every size and type of program to participate. Please note that in the selection process, preference will be given to programs that already have an existing relationship with us e.g. a staff member attends one of Early Childhood Leadership Collaboratives, participates or has participated in a Progressive or Cohort program.
