GPLHS Monthly Update
February 2020
Prayer for Great Plains Lutheran High School
Lord Jesus, as we marvel at your words and works, we pray that by the power of the gospel you would bless all who study and meditate upon your Word. Strengthen the faith of all those who are enrolled at our Lutheran schools. Let your hand of blessing be upon the faculty and students of Great Plains Lutheran High School, and grant increasing opportunities to work with families and students in the year to come. May we all faithfully follow you, the light of the world. Work through us as ambassadors of your grace, that many more may know and cling to you, the light of life. Amen.
Basketball Schedule
There are many basketball games, home and away, in February. To keep up on the schedule for all the girls and boys games go to www.gplhs.org.  On the Home page you will find the upcoming games in the Athletic Events section. The schedule for all activities can be found by clicking HERE.

Financial Update
Happy New Year to all of you from all of us at GPLHS. How blessed we are to have once again celebrated the birth of the most important person in all the world, Jesus of Nazareth. God in the flesh, born in Bethlehem’s stable came to pay for all sin by going to Golgotha’s cross and then three days later rising from the grave. It is because of Jesus that our 2020 can indeed be a happy and hope-filled year. I also wanted to quickly update you on ...

Student Trip to England
GPL students have the opportunity to participate in a "Literature in England" tour this summer chaperoned by, Miss Ziel! Students will visit the homes and hometowns that inspired some of the English language’s most influential works. They will explore the quaint cobblestone streets of Haworth, where the Brontë sisters penned “Jane Eyre” and “Wuthering Heights," and visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, enjoying a theater performance and workshop along with many other educational opportunities.
Would you like to send a Valentine?
The students going on the trip to England this summer are selling Valentines as a fundraiser to defray the cost of the trip. Do you have a GPL student to whom you would like to send a Valentine? You can order one at gplhs.org/fundraiser from February 1 – 7.
