Greetings!
2020 is already full of changes here at WORK_SPACE.
- Our Beer & Business event is now held at 2nd Bridge, Elicit, Labyrinth and Urban Lodge Brewing Co. (see schedule below)
- Our new brochure is ready to go to print (almost), and
- Our beloved colleagues, Lori Dusza and Emma Petersen are moving on to full time jobs.
Although we will mourn their absence, we are happy that Emma and Lori's hard work and dedication will continue to benefit Manchester as Lori moves to the Dept. of General Services and Emma joins the team at the
Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
(read Emma's blog below)
Although no one can take their place in our hearts,we do need people to take their place at our front desk. Please see below for details about the job posting which closes on Tues. 1/21/20.
Business and art will still abound through our staffing transitions. If you haven't been to visit us this year, we have four great art exhibits:
- 10 Years of Better Manchester Magazine
- Robert Cooper
- Jill Friedman
- Arpita Kurdekar
The galleries are free and open to the public Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm. Visit us before or after enjoying breakfast or lunch at one of the great restaurants on Main Street. And for those seeking to experience coworking for the first time, come in any weekday from 10a-4p for a free day-pass and/or on Friday's in February for
FREE CO-WORKING FRIDAYS.
Coming up soon:
Tues. 1/21 - TED Talk Tuesday
Thurs. 1/29 - PERSPECTIVE's Art Opening at Hartford Public Access TV
Thurs. 2/6 - BEER & BUSINESS @ Elicit Brewing Co.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
