Real Food for Kids Culinary Challenge

apple-sm.jpg
The Real Food for Kids Culinary Challenge is the only event in the country that gives students a platform to influence and change what is served in their school cafeterias. Throughout the National Capital Region, dishes created by middle and high school students for this event are being served to thousands of their peers. And our school districts are hearing the message loud and clear. Students want and need to be nourished better, with fresher, healthier, more diverse, and  more appealing options so they can perform at their best now and in the years to come.

21 teams from 7 school districts in the National Capital Region will participate in three categories: breakfast, lunch, and snack. The winner of the lunch category will have their dish served to thousands of their peers in school cafeterias across the DC region.
Come have a taste and judge for yourself which team should go home with the prize!
