The WCA Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an entirely volunteer, parent-led group focused on building a strong school community including parents, staff, teachers, administration and the school board while supporting school needs through various fundraising programs.

Briccy's Spirit Night
Our next Spirit Day will be held on Wednesday, January 22 at Briccy's Coffee, in Castle Rock. 20% of all sales, from 6am-8pm, will go to our WCA PTO.
Briccy's offers an assortment of beverages, as well as gelato and other eats. You can check out their
menu online and pop in their shop any time on the 22nd.

Stock the Teachers' Lounge
Help our WCA staff know how valued they are this semester by keeping their tummies full! Each month we will be asking two grades to "stock the teachers' lounge" with non-perishable snacks. (Though we welcome donations each month from any grade, if you're eager to give!)
We will be starting with Kindergarten and 5th grade. You can
sign up for items here
and deliver them to school any time leading up to January 21.

Mabel's Labels
Need an easier way to label your child's belongings to help get them back when they are lost?
The lost and found is filled with items not labeled or with labels that are hard to read or falling off. The PTO has started a fundraising page with Mabel's Labels! You can label anything, they are dishwasher/laundry/water safe and the Tag Mates are peel and stick - no ironing/drying needed. Mabel's Labels even offer medical stickers.
Visit the site, campaigns.mabelslabels.com, choose World Compass Academy PTO as the fundraiser you are supporting, and shop all the fun products. Thank you for helping us get your items back to you, while also raising money for the PTO!

February PTO Meeting
Join us on February 6 at 6pm for our next PTO meeting! Help us plan our spring family event, BINGO, and continued teacher appreciation efforts. Then, spend time with our hard working administrative team, Dr. Borzych, Mrs. Merkling, and Mrs. Seniw, for a great opportunity to learn more about our school. "Ask the Admin" will give you a chance to ask questions about charter renewal, learn more about the school's academic strategy, or hear about things you've just always wondered about running a school.

Box Top Collection: Two Ways to Participate!
Drop off Box Tops to school:
It is time to start collecting the clipped Box Tops! Look for our new Box Tops mailbox in the hallway near the front office and drop them there. The clipped Box Tops are still able to be turned in for $$$ for WCA.
Use the Box Tops App:
BoxTops 4 Education has made submitting your boxtops super efficient and user friendly! Just look for the Box Tops logo on your favorite products and on your receipts from major retailers. Once you've purchased your items, simply scan your receipt on the app and BAM, money for WCA!

Shopping for Groceries = FREE $$ for WCA
King Soopers - shopping and earning money for the school has never been easier. Log onto your account at Kingsoopers.com or on the app. Under the Community Rewards section, indicate that you want your donations to go to World Compass Academy. It's as simple as that. Nothing else you need to do other than shop!
Safeway - if you prefer to shop at Safeway, we have rewards cards that credit the school for each dollar you load and then spend. If you would like one, our treasurer Ashley Lenihan can sell you one ($5 for a $5 loaded card). Reach out to her at [email protected].
