ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES FOR 2018-19
Last week, SCCS Head of School/President Mr. Geoff Palmer announced administrative changes for the 2018-2019 school year.
 
Mr. Ryan Wikel '99 will serve as Interim Principal for the SCCS Middle School & St. Mary Central Catholic High School. Mr. Wikel has been a member of our team for 3 years and is eager to assume new responsibilities in this leadership position. Mr. Wikel and his family reside in Sandusky, Ohio and his children attend SCCS.
 
Mr. Toby Notestine '71 will move from serving as a 5th grade teacher to Dean of Students and Interim Head Football Coach. Mr. Notestine has been a leader in the classroom and on the football field. Having retired from Sandusky City Schools, we are pleased to be able to utilize his leadership qualities to the fullest.
 
Mr. Mike Roth '70 will transition into our school as our Interim Athletic Director following several years with Perkins Local Schools. Mr. Roth has a long history of operating quality athletic programs and we are honored to have him on our team.
 
Mrs. Paula Roth '72 is no stranger to our Sandusky Central Catholic School family. In her current role, she serves as Director of Special Education and has oversight of Federal programs. In addition to this duty, Mrs. Roth will also serve as the Interim Elementary Principal for grades K-5. She had previously served as Special Education Director and Elementary Principal following a career with Sandusky City, Elyria, and Amherst Schools.
 
Mrs. Lisa MacMurray '01 came to us in 2013 after serving at Monroeville St. Joseph for seven years. A dedicated educator, she will continue to serve as the Director of Preschool Programming, Testing Coordinator and serve additionally as the Assistant Elementary Principal over discipline in grades K-5.
 
We wish all administrative staff members the best in the coming school year.

FACTS PAYMENT REGISTRATION
If you chose FACTS tuition payments on your tuition contract, please sign on or register a new account on to the FACTS web site by clicking here. After the agreement is finalized, FACTS will send an email to confirm and notify you of the date the $41.00 enrollment fee will be deducted from the bank account or credit card provided. SALES TAX HOLIDAY
The Ohio Sales Tax Holiday begins on Friday, August 3 at 12:00am and ends on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 11:59pm. During this time, clothing priced at $75 per item or less and school supplies priced at $20 per item or less are exempt from sales and use tax.

Mandatory football practice for grades 7 and 8 begins on Monday, July 30 at Zierolf Field from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL
Mandatory volleyball practice for girls in grades 7 and 8 begins on Monday, July 30 in the Multi-Purpose Room from 10:00am-12:00pm.
  
MARCHING BAND PRACTICE
The Marching Band will meet Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 3 at 8:00am in the parking lot to practice marching techniques. All band members are invited, but seniors, first chairs, and first year band members are the most encouraged to attend.
