On Friday, May the Fourth from 6-8pm the Whitefish Bay Public Library will transform into a galaxy far, far away to celebrate Star Wars! This all ages, after hours party will be a battle between the Force and the Dark Side with these out of this world activities:

  • Photo Booths
  • Craft and Coloring 
  • Snacks, Goodies and More!
Please register for this program. Costumes are encouraged and welcome. Dress up as your favorite Jedi, Wookie or Storm Trooper.

Thousand-Miler: Adventures Hiking the Ice Age Trail

Melanie Radzicki McManus, author of the memoir Thousand-Miler: Adventures Hiking the Ice Age Trail (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2017), will talk about her record-setting trek along the 1,100-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail. She will also speak about the trail and its development - it's one of just 11 National Scenic Trails nationwide - and about the various successful strategies other thousand-milers have used in their hikes.
