SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Gabriella A.F.
Gabbs has been accepted to Southern Vermont College, Trinity Washington University, and Gannon University!
1. What do you want to study in college? How did you become passionate about it?
I want to study to become a lawyer in the field of immigration or family relations. I have a passion to help others succeed and show them the way to opportunities they didn't know about before.
2. What has been the most helpful part about being in the CollegeTracks family?
CollegeTracks is my second home. I am constantly there. They have helped me alleviate my stress level with college applications and scholarships, and SoulCycle among other activities. They are even motivating me to keep on striving my senior year.
3. What are you considering as you decide on which college to attend in the fall?
I am considering staying local at Trinity Washington University - the DC location will facilitate me getting internships close by, and I can commute by Metro.
4. What activities do you want to be involved in at college?
I would like to continue being part of a women's empowerment club,
a student ambassador, getting internships, joining a sport, International Club, community services trips and even challenging myself to partake in an honors program to continue my studies.
5. Gabbs' advice for Juniors in CollegeTracks?
Get yourself an agenda book and sticky notes - this will help you stay organized but in addition will keep you aware of any deadlines for scholarships, ACT tests coming up. Give yourself time to study for the ACT/SAT and and apply for scholarships. Ms Aja and Ms O will guide you but you have to put in the work for this! You can do this! If I did it this far, of course you can do it, don't give up! You've made it this far. I'm so proud of you!
