Richard Scott Heads to 2018 Special Olympics USA Games
Victory Living Programs is proud to have yet another athlete heading to the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle from July 1-6, 2018: Richard Scott, who will be competing in swimming. Richard will participate alongside 4,000 other athletes representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
This past month Victory Living had three athletes and three unified partners compete in the National Unified Bowling Tournament in Syracuse, NY. Congratulations to our athletes and partners, Larnie Killen and John Garrity, who brought home a fourth place ribbon and a silver medal, Ira Varnum and Phillip Gray, who brought home two gold medals, and Michelle Greenberg and Breana Josephson, who brought home two silver medals.
On March 3, 2018, Victory Living had 14 bocce players, three volleyball teams, five tennis players, and one soccer player compete at the Special Olympics Florida, Broward County Summer County Games at Cardinal Gibbons High School. All of the athletes did a great job and brought home ribbons in 1st through 6th place. Congratulations to all, we are very proud of their abilities and sportsmanship.

The Special Olympics Florida Area Summer Games are coming up next on April 7, 2018. Athletes in track and field, bocce, soccer, tennis and volleyball will be competing in West Palm Beach. Good luck to all!
