ZACH'S PLACE
featured on Living Local

As parents, our date nights don't happen as often as we'd like. It's just so expensive to find a babysitter. SKSF is offering services to parents for a reasonable price. Zach's Place Program Director, Tony Etheridge, joined Living Local to talk about Parent's Night Out.

NEXT PARENT'S NIGHT OUT
Friday, April 13th
Theme: Earth Day

Kids will enjoy a fun night packed with exciting themed activities geared to keep them entertained! Socialization is an important goal for our youth at Zach's Place at The Laurie Hillyard Family Center. We offer a unique opportunity to meet this goal.  Typically, we'll provide pizza or other meal, provide a craft activity, watch a movie and/or play games.

Registration & intake process is required for participation.   $15/child for kids of all abilities and ages 3-21.  RSVP required one week before event - please call Zach's Place at 719-329-1717 or email Center Manager, Ashley Helyar at ahelyar@sksfcolorado.org. Limited space.

VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHTS

VISTA GRANDE BAPTIST CHURCH
This dedicated volunteer group from Vista Grande Baptist Church helped out at Zach's Place center decorating Easter eggs and cookies, putting on a puppet show and playing games with the kids. What a group of kind and respectful youth!

UCCS STUDENTS
A volunteer group from UCCS visited Zach's Place center and helped with "Spring cleaning"!  They worked hard to clean all the windows and then went to the YMCA with the kids to play basketball. Thanks for your smiles and giving your time!
We are seeking volunteers to join our upcoming event committees for the summer Bluegrass, Brews & Brats event (6/23/18) and the 7th Annual Night of Comedy (10/13/18).

Help us encourage support for our cause, build relationships and raise money to meet our ongoing needs.  We are looking for active, productive and dedicated committee members so we can ensure the success of our events.  Our fundraising committee meetings are held at our Adult Services Conference room on a monthly basis.
