In Loving Memory
|
We are sad to announce our loss of Bill French, who passed quietly in his sleep Thursday morning, March 22, at the age of 91. All week he had been at home surrounded by family, including Tari (his wife of 64 years), his four children and three children-in-law, and five of his seven grandchildren (and he was able to speak by phone with the other two grandchildren earlier in the week).
Bill and Tari joined Ashby Village in 2011 when it was less than a year old. Since then, Bill was instrumental in the creation of the neighborhood group program, was on the neighborhood group council for many years, and helped lead the Hamlet until his "retirement" last summer. He and Tari hosted the Mac User Group for several years, until a few weeks ago. He will be missed by many.
