Falls Run General Manager Transition Plan-Update

Dear Falls Run Residents:

As you are aware, Anthony Lugo, our General Manager (GM), has accepted another position within First Services Residential (FSR). The Board has met with FSR management (Anthony’s supervisor and Vice President, Susan Manch, and Robert Telling, their Senior Vice President), to discuss the process of transitioning to a new GM and have agreed to a plan for doing so.

Anthony will continue in his role as GM until: (1) we reach agreed-to milestones in eight (8) projects that are in various stages; (2) a new GM has been hired and is on-board; or, (3) July 1, 2018, whichever comes first. Board Member Haward Boyette will be working very closely with Anthony, the FSR employees, and the Board to ensure the smoothest transition possible.

A notable change that will take place is Anthony’s and the new GM’s time on the job will embody a schedule change. We will be moving to specified hours that the GM will be available to work directly with our residents. Outside those times residents will work with his assistant Abby, Lara our Activities Director, and/or Shawn, our Maintenance Technician. Haward will also be available to assist as needed.

FSR has begun to advertise as widely as practicable for a candidate who is able to carry out the functions in the GM Job Description. We are looking for an individual who: (1) has at least 5 years of management experience with community associations; (2) is a “Certified Manager of Community Associations” (CMCA) and preferably a certified “Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM); and, (3) passes all interviews (FSR-HR, FSR Management, President FRCA, and, the FRCA Board). Our ideal candidate would have the qualifications, work ethic, drive, knowledge, people management skills, interpersonal skills, and the experience and ability to manage large and varied projects.

We want the transition to be as smooth as possible and ask each of you for your cooperation during the process. Thanks for your assistance.

UPDATE:

The Board of Directors met in Special Session on Wednesday, March 21, 2019 in to interview a candidate to replace Anthony as our new General Manager. The Board is extremely pleased to announce that Dominic Klepic, a Stafford resident, was offered and accepted the position. The Board vote was unanimous and we look forward to working with Dominic in the years to come. Dominic is highly qualified with extensive experience in the construction, banking, and property management industries. We expect Dominic to be here full-time in early May.
