NYC UWS: Yom HaShoah – Reading of the Names
Every year the Upper West Side commemorates Yom HaShoah with a joint reading of the names of those who were murdered. The Upper West Side community will gather at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism at 15 West 86th Street at 10 pm to read the names of those among the 6 million Jews who died during the Holocaust. The reading continues throughout the night with representatives of Upper West Side congregations and other members of the community.
