They say February is the month of love. Here on the Olympic Peninsula, we couldn't agree more. In fact, we think every month on the peninsula is one of love - love for the natural beauty of this place, for the wildlife we catch glimpses of, for the many romantic places to eat and stay, and for the love of adventure. We invite you to share your photos and videos on Instagram using #olympicpeninsula so we can follow your Olympic Peninsula love story and for a chance to be featured!
We can't wait to see you on the Olympic Peninsula!

As you head outside for outdoor adventure in Olympic National Forest this winter, be sure to go with a buddy. Bringing a friend or two along not only adds to the fun of your experience but could save your life or your friend's, should something happen to you. Be sure to bring your cell phone and an emergency kit along too. Extra layers are always a good idea. Weather can change quickly, especially at higher elevations, so being prepared simply makes good sense.
