Collinsville 1950s Historic Walking Tour

The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce is planning an historic walking tour of downtown Collinsville for Thursday, April 19. The tour will begin at 7:00 pm inside Herron's Crown Opry Theater at 1015 W Main Street.

Tour attendees will be given a glimpse at life in Collinsville in the 1950s, when Collinsville was the hub of excitement for surrounding towns. The event will begin with a slideshow of photos/videos and short introduction to Collinsville history, then groups will head out in 15-minute intervals to walk the streets of downtown Collinsville. Guests will be treated to fun and interesting stories of the people and businesses that shaped our town. The evening will conclude with refreshments inside the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce office at 1126 W Main Street.

Admission price is only $10 per person. There will be a limit of 25 people per tour group. Be sure to contact the office today to reserve your spot, as spaces are expected to sell quickly!

For more information, please contact Megan Edwards at [email protected] or 918.371.4703.

Collinsville Trash Off Day
In conjunction with the City of Collinsville and Collinsville Downtown Inc., we are planning projects to participate in the Great American Cleanup. The Collinsville Chamber of Commerce board members will be cleaning up the highway entrances to our city on Saturday, April 21 beginning at 8:00 am. We encourage our members and Collinsville citizens to join us! Meet us at the Chamber office to pick up vests, trash bags, and gloves. Together, we can all work together to Keep Collinsville Beautiful!
