New Adult Ed Series
The Ten Commandments: Laws of the Heart

The Adult Education group has started a new video series:  The Ten Commandments - Laws of the Heart with Joan Chittister.  This series offers a fresh look at some familiar scripture common to many religious traditions.  Sister Joan is one of our favorite speakers and is always clear and thought provoking.

This is a 12 week series meeting  Sundays at 9:30 or Wednesdays at 7:00pm.  We are a diverse group with a variety of opinions and experiences.  All are welcome.
Worship Sneak Peek

Join us this Sunday (3/25) in worship as we continue our Lenten worship series - LISTEN.  And as we come to the last week of this Lent journey, we have experienced the blessings of turning away from the noise of the world in order to turn inward to hear that "still small voice" of God and finding our own voice of wisdom there as well.

This Sunday begins the story of the end of Jesus' human life and the scripture contains one of the rare examples of how Jesus prayed. In Matthew 26:36-46, we read, "Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane... And going a little farther, he threw himself on the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not what I want but what you want.'" This prayer was honest, it was gut-wrenching, and it finally was a letting-go of expectations about life and a turn toward the acceptance that gives the courage to move onward. How does Jesus' prayer invite us to listen for God's leading in our lives as we find our purpose and calling?

The Sunday worship schedule is as follows:
  • 8:15 AM Traditional Worship in Chapel
    • Communion served weekly
  • 9:30 AM Traditional Worship in Sanctuary
